BBC work experience over

Well I've finished my week with BBC South West, it was really good, I learnt a lot and experienced loads of different areas of interest.

I'll have to post more about this some other time, but here's a link to a page which I wrote about a firework record attempt and published using the BBC's slightly dodgy CMS (Content Management System):

Rocket Man Aims for Record

I might have to replace it with an image or reproduction when it falls off the end of the feature rota.

In other news I'm still searching for a decent job, and the new housing idea is coming along nicely, got some supplies on the way.

I also ordered a book which I will be gifting to Carly and then borrowing from her as soon as possible:

Born on a Blue Day: A Memoir of Aspergers and an Extraordinary Mind

by Daniel Tammet

I'm also trying to put together something for the videoforums.co.uk competition, the deadline is the end of July and the theme is "who the hell are you?"...I'm thinking of doing something simple, as I only have a few days.

Update, 23 years and 1 month old nearly

Had a go at another type of housing for my video camera (see picture), I'll be testing it out this weekend hopefully. With imspiration from this thread on KBB, this guide on wakeboarding.com, this thread on the wakeboarding.com forum, and this "Epic" housing that you can buy from the US.

Also now that JD is back in town I'll be able to shoot a bit for the Devon section of the 8-balls dvd, which I need to shoot some more Water footage for but which is coming along nicely, should be the best (only?) Devon section on any bodyboard DVD.

Also met up with James Sutton and Mitch Holmes for the first time after they've got back from South America, (Brazil and Peru respectively), which was cool, had a BBQ at Mitchs house which was brilliant after James and I surfed OK Gwenver last Sunday.

The BBC work experience will be commencing on Thursday next week, should be fun, hopefully I might get to head up to the New Forest for a bit of a camp on Friday night aswell, if things run smoothly.

Also hoping to go see the Aquabats play in Yeovil on July 27th, but it might clash with other things, it would be a good gig though...
